Why I love my wife more than my children – Daniel Etim Effiong

Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has stirred reactions online after revealing that he loves his wife, Toyosi Etim Effiong, more than his children.

The actor made the remark while speaking during an appearance on the Masplantion podcast, where he discussed his views on love, commitment and family priorities.

During the conversation, Daniel explained that although he deeply loves his children, his wife remains his top priority.

Responding to a question about whether the love he has for his wife is the greatest form of love he has experienced apart from his children, the actor answered in the affirmative.

“I mean, that’s a good question. I would say yes. I love my wife more than my children,” he said.

“My wife comes first before my children. Although they have a really special place in my heart.”

The actor’s statement has generated discussions on social media, with many people sharing mixed reactions to his perspective on family dynamics.

Daniel explained that prioritising his wife reflects his belief in building a strong marital foundation, which he considers essential for maintaining a healthy and stable family.
