Nigerian singer Asake has drawn attention online after a video showed him being allowed to pray at a special spot linked to Prophet Muhammad inside the Prophet’s Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

The music star is currently in Medina, one of Islam’s holiest cities, where thousands of Muslims gather during the sacred month of Ramadan for prayers and spiritual reflection.

In the video circulating on social media, worshippers were seen praying within the premises of the mosque while Asake was guided by a mosque official wearing a vest labeled “Ask Me,” commonly used by guides who assist pilgrims.

The guide was seen leading the singer to a small wooden door that opened into a secluded area believed to have religious and historical significance connected to Prophet Muhammad.

After Asake entered the section, the door was closed behind him, indicating that the space is restricted and not accessible to the general public.

Inside the area, the singer was seen kneeling in prayer, taking a quiet moment for personal devotion.
