In his remarks, Group Chief Human Resource Officer at Interswitch, Franklin Ali, said the initiative reflects the company’s broader commitment to creating intentional pathways for women to thrive professionally.

Interswitch has commemorated the 2026 International Women’s Day with a targeted initiative aimed at strengthening women’s leadership capacity and promoting a more inclusive workplace culture across its operations.

The technology company anchored this year’s celebration on the theme, “Give to Gain,” rolling out an internal programme designed to encourage value creation, visibility, and professional growth among its female workforce.

As part of the activities, Interswitch hosted a virtual session for women within the organisation, featuring Bunmi Dayo-Olagunju, who delivered a presentation titled “Give to Gain – Give Value, Gain Visibility.”

The session focused on equipping participants with practical insights on leadership development, building influence, and leveraging visibility for career advancement.

In his remarks, Group Chief Human Resource Officer at Interswitch, Franklin Ali, said the initiative reflects the company’s broader commitment to creating intentional pathways for women to thrive professionally.

“At Interswitch, we believe empowering women goes beyond celebrating milestones like International Women’s Day. It requires creating meaningful platforms where women can learn, share experiences, and gain the visibility needed to grow as leaders,” he said.

Ali added that the “Give to Gain” initiative is designed to help women recognise their value and confidently amplify their contributions within and beyond the organisation.

Drawing from her experience in the financial services sector, Dayo-Olagunju stressed the importance of intentional value creation, noting that consistent delivery and strategic positioning are key to building influence and achieving sustainable career growth.

She also encouraged women to take deliberate steps to enhance their professional visibility, emphasising that recognition often follows demonstrated impact.

Beyond the leadership session, the company distributed customised care packages to female employees across its offices as a gesture of appreciation for their contributions.

Interswitch said it continues to implement policies that support women’s wellbeing and work-life balance, including access to creche facilities, an enhanced maternity leave structure, and a spousal allowance initiative.

The company noted that women across its workforce play critical roles in driving innovation and operational efficiency, contributing significantly to its growth across technology, product development, finance, and leadership functions.

According to the firm, the International Women’s Day initiative underscores its commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where talent is nurtured, contributions are recognised, and employees are supported to achieve their full potential.
