‘How revenue from my first hit changed everything,’- CDQ

Nigerian rapper Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf, popularly known as CDQ, has opened up on how the success of his music career helped change his life and that of his family.

While speaking during a livestream with Nigerian content creator, Carter Efe, the rapper revealed that he relocated his family to Europe after he became comfortable.

CDQ explained that he wanted to give them a better life, stating that they had been living with him for seven years before their relocation.

“My family had been staying with me for over 7 years. I moved my mother and siblings to Spain the very moment I got my first hit. The moment I got my first bread, I moved them out of Nigeria…,” he stated.
