In the post, Regina described her grandmother as energetic, beautiful, and deeply prayerful, expressing pride in her family lineage. She also playfully declared herself “oni ya meta,” a Yoruba phrase implying she is blessed to have three mothers — her biological mother, her mother-in-law, and her grandmother.
“Meet my grandmother, very energetic, my beautiful nne, my prayerful grandma… Call me oni ya meta! I get mama, I get mother-in-law, I still come get grandmother,” she wrote.
The actress, known for often sharing glimpses of her personal life, has in recent times been open about her emotional journey. A few days earlier, she expressed sadness over a viral AI-generated video featuring late Nollywood actors, including Junior Pope, Amaechi Muonagor, Mr Ibu, and Sam Loco Efe.
Regina has also previously opened up about her struggles as a widow, revealing that her last child was just four months old when her husband passed away after battling a serious illness.
