Popular Nigerian comedian and content creator Woli Arole has shared a shocking yet humorous account of how he nearly fell victim to a scam involving a supposed car gift.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, the comedian revealed that he received a message from an individual who claimed that God had instructed them to gift him a brand-new jeep in Togo.

According to Arole, the offer initially appeared like a miracle. However, things quickly took a suspicious turn when the sender requested that he transfer ₦400,000 to cover the cost of a driver who would deliver the vehicle. He was also given the option of traveling to Togo to pick up the car himself.

Sensing foul play, the comedian declined the offer, noting that the request raised multiple red flags.

Reacting to the incident, Arole used humor to highlight how greed and the desire for quick rewards can make people vulnerable to scams, even when the warning signs are obvious.

He added that the experience served as a reminder for people to remain cautious and vigilant, especially when dealing with offers that seem too good to be true.
