2027: Tinubu support groups align with Governor Yusuf re-election

The North-West Coordinator of the Tinubu Support Groups (TSGs), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, has declared total support and full alignment with Kano state Governor, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, ahead the 2027 general election.

Dr. Dan’agundi, who is also the Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), declared in Kano that the TSGs in the state, “take orders only from Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.”

According to him, the TSGs maintain firm support and political alignment with Governor Yusuf’s leadership and his 2027 re-election ambition.

He further disclosed that the Tinubu Support Groups in Kano state have commenced grassroots mobilization across the state in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

Dr. Dan’agundi made this known during the inauguration of the leadership of the Tinubu Support Groups across 15 Local Government Areas in Kano Central Senatorial District.

He emphasized that the groups are working towards ensuring the electoral success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Governor of Kano state, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf; and all candidates to be fielded by the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Dr. Dan’agundi stressed that the Tinubu Support Groups in Kano State will not take directives from any individual or authority other than the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, reaffirming their total loyalty and alignment with his leadership.

He further called on Local Government Areas executives of the TSGs, to cascade the directive down to ward and polling unit levels to ensure effective coordination and sustained grassroots engagement.

Dan’agundi added that the Tinubu Support Groups in Kano state have also intensified efforts and mobilization strategies aimed at securing victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and all APC candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

According to him, the composition of the Tinubu Support Groups includes experienced politicians, scholars, seasoned retired civil servants, students, women, youths, athletes, and other critical stakeholders.
