Mohamed Salah will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the season, bringing an end to his nine-year stay at the club.
Both Salah and Liverpool agreed on his departure, even though his contract runs until 2027.

During his time at Liverpool, Salah helped the team win major trophies, including:
The UEFA Champions League
The Premier League (twice)
The FA Cup
The Club World Cup
He was also the club’s top scorer four times, including last season when he scored 29 goals.
In a farewell message, Salah said:
“The day has come. I will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. This club, the city, and the fans have become a big part of my life.”
There had been earlier signs of his possible exit after he had issues with manager Arne Slot. Although they later settled their differences, speculation about his future continued.
This season, Salah has contributed 19 goals in 34 matches. His current market value is €30 million, although it once reached €150 million during his peak at Liverpool.
Salah leaves Liverpool as one of the club’s most successful and important players in modern history.
