Former Spain midfielder Xabi Alonso could replace Arne Slot as Liverpool manager at the end of the season, according to BILD.
Liverpool have struggled this season while trying to defend the Premier League title that Slot won in his first year by 10 points.
The team is currently in fifth place, 21 points behind league leaders Arsenal. Because of this poor performance, Slot may not stay as manager after the summer.
