The 2026 FIFA World Cup, the first edition to be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, will be the largest in the tournament’s history. With the conclusion of the March international break, all qualified and eliminated teams have now been confirmed.

Six remaining slots were decided during the playoffs, four in UEFA and two through FIFA intercontinental playoffs.

In Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina stunned Italy to secure qualification, while Turkey, Sweden, and the Czech Republic also booked their places.

In the intercontinental playoffs, the Democratic Republic of the Congo defeated Jamaica 1-0, and Iraq edged Bolivia 2-1 to claim the final two spots.

The tournament will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, with the opening match featuring Mexico against South Africa at the Mexico City Stadium.
