Alex Iwobi is set to explore a new career path outside football, as he prepares to release his first music project.
The Fulham FC midfielder announced on Instagram that his debut extended play (EP) titled More To Life will be released on April 9. He shared the album cover and a tracklist containing nine songs.
The EP will include both solo songs and collaborations. Iwobi worked with artistes like 24am, Teniola Time, Gidi, Fido, and SPKS on the project. Two of the tracks will feature him alone, showing his growing confidence as a musician.
This is not his first time making music. He has previously worked with fellow footballer Chuba Akpom, who makes music as Skoli, and British rapper Ramz on a song titled Hop Out.
Even with his interest in music, Iwobi remains important to his team. This season, he has scored four goals and provided three assists for Fulham in the Premier League.
His move into music shows a growing trend of footballers exploring creative interests outside sports, as he gets ready to share another side of himself with fans.
