Kate Henshaw warns against excessive consumption of certain grains

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has issued a strong warning against the excessive consumption of rice in the country. The actress on her X handle, explained that over-consumption of the grain could lead to a rapid decline on the consumer’s health.

Henshaw warned that conditions like constipation, and unwanted weight gain are common with regular rice consumers, due to the high amount of a toxic metal found in the grain.

”Excessive consumption of RICE can lead to weight gain, constipation & exposure to arsenic, a toxic heavy metal found in higher amounts in RICE!,” she wrote.

The actress’ warning stirred up the conversation surrounding the upcoming elections. Some claimed that Henshaw’s statement about rice was a metaphor for corruption.
