President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Saturday embark on an official visit to Ogun State to commission and inspect a series of major infrastructure projects, signalling the state’s push toward economic growth and improved service delivery.

In a statement, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Hon. Kayode Akinmade, said the visit would feature projects spanning aviation, transportation, security and agriculture.

Top on the agenda is the commissioning of the Gateway International Airport, Iperu, alongside two aircraft under Gateway Air, in partnership with ValueJet

. The President is also expected to witness a cargo operations demonstration facilitated by SAHCOL.

Other projects slated for commissioning include 1,000 electric bikes under the state’s mobility initiative, 80 security vehicles and a fleet of agricultural tractors to support food production.

Beyond the airport, Tinubu will commission the Ilishan–Iperu Airport Road and inspect the Nigeria Customs Service Village, as well as inaugurate the Forward Operating Base.

He will also inspect the Gateway Aviation Village and commission the reconstructed Sapade–Ilishan Road, to be named the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Expressway.

The visit will conclude with an inspection of the Sagamu–Benin Concrete Road project.
