A video of the event, shared on X by user @IdiongoUdoh, shows that Akpabio declined the reserved front seat for dignitaries, prompting a flurry of reactions from worshippers and church officials.
According to the post, chaos quickly unfolded: choristers left their stand, members paused worship, and phones came out to record the moment. Pastors reportedly begged the Senate President to move forward for a special seat, turning the service into a spectacle before he eventually complied.
