2027: Tinubu taught us all how to play opposition; ADC, PDP can’t outsmart him – Keyamo

Gratuity
President Bola Tinubu

Quick Read

"The very unique thing about President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that he fought from the deep end of opposition to become President of Nigeria and today, he has totally flipped the script on the PDP which could not outfox him as the only surviving opposition Governor in the South-West in 2007," he said.

Minister of Aviation Festus Keyamo has described President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a political mastermind, asserting that opposition parties, including the African Democratic Congress (ADC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and others, are effectively following Tinubu’s own playbook and cannot outmaneuver him as preparations for the 2027 general elections intensify.

Keyamo highlighted Tinubu’s political trajectory, noting that he rose from the depths of opposition to become Nigeria’s President, and has since maintained an unmatched strategic edge over rivals.

“The very unique thing about President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is that he fought from the deep end of opposition to become President of Nigeria and today, he has totally flipped the script on the PDP which could not outfox him as the only surviving opposition Governor in the South-West in 2007,” he said.

“Every step the opposition takes today and every strategy they adopt is from the playbook of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He knows and understands every single step against him before they even conceive it,” the minister added.

He further emphasized Tinubu’s mastery in Nigerian politics: “You cannot beat the master at his own game; you cannot outfox the man who taught almost all of us how to play opposition politics. He is 100 steps ahead of all of them.”

Keyamo’s comments underline the President’s early positioning for 2027, signaling that while opposition parties attempt to challenge his influence, they are essentially reacting to strategies he has perfected over decades, particularly in the South-West.
