‘We Have Changed The Face Of TV Drama’

In the motion picture industry, the name Abiola Nurudeen may not really ring a bell, but his works surely does. Fondly called Alpha, he is the Production Manager of AK Media Concept, the outfit that produces award-winning television dramas like Face-2-Face, Family Ties and Nowhere To Be Found.

Alpha, who has worked with a lot of A-list thespians, however told NollywoodReel that his priority and that of AK Media is to lift the face of television drama in Nigeria, adding that “To a very large extent, we have achieved that.”

He noted that “I had studied this industry very well over the years, so I know its strengths and weaknesses, and if you observe, that is the vacuum AK Media has been filling with its productions so far.

“We have not relent anyway because we work on new innovations and strategies everyday, and our aim is to even surpass the feat of foreign dramas. We are getting there already,” Alpha rapped.

Aside being a force behind Family Ties, Nowhere To Be Found and Face-2Face, Alpha has also tried his hands on a couple of home videos. He has worked with popular actors like Alex Usifo, Tony Umez, Funke Akindele, Funsho Adeolu and Moji Olaiya among others.
