Davido announces forth-coming collaboration with Chris Brown

Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Davido has revealed his plans for his next project, disclosing that he will be collaborating with American R&B star, Chris Brown.

The artist, while speaking in a recent episode of the Swift Conversations podcast, explained that he is focused on making Africa-centered music. Davido also noted that despite his new focus and music direction, he is open to working with American artists.

“The music I am making now is very African. In this next project, I am working with a lot of my original producers from back home. However, I am still an American so definitely there’s going to be collaborations. Me and Chris Brown got an album coming next year,” he stated.

Davido and Chris Brown initially collaborated in 2019, on the hit track ‘Blow My Mind’. They have worked together on more songs since then.
