The hosts started brightly and took control midway through the first half when Alexander Isak finished off a slick move to open the scoring. Moments later, Andrew Robertson doubled the advantage, capping a dominant spell that left Palace chasing the game before halftime.
After the break, Palace responded with renewed urgency. Their persistence paid off in the 70th minute when Daniel Muñoz fired home from close range, setting up a tense finale as the visitors pushed for an equaliser.
Liverpool, however, held their nerve under pressure. Just as Palace threatened to snatch a point, Florian Wirtz sealed the win late on with a composed finish, restoring the two-goal cushion and ending the contest.
The result keeps Liverpool firmly in the race for a top-four finish, while Crystal Palace are left to rue missed chances after a spirited second-half display.
