Victor Osimhen will be allowed to play in the big Istanbul derby despite an attempt by Fenerbahçe to stop him.
Fenerbahçe had asked the Turkish Football Federation to disqualify Osimhen, claiming that the protective arm guard he wears could be dangerous to other players. They referred to football rules and submitted a report to support their complaint.
However, the request was rejected. Osimhen has now been cleared to play for Galatasaray in the important league match.
