On September 5, 2025, Ifeanyichukwu Joseph Emordi, also known as Jo Modi, released an EP titled Heart and Feelings, which houses six great tracks, including “I’m here”. The talented producer, who also serves as a singer on the song, employs the silky vocals of Riwo Egor to create a lovely tune that stands out on the body of work.

Mixed and mastered by Jo Modi, Co-produced by Akachukwu Paul Emordi, with Aristoteles Canga serving as the recording engineer and Leshan Masikonte contributing as the A&R, “I’m here” reflects a team of creatives who understand the intricacies of producing a song that will captivate, and holds the attention of listeners. For Jo Modi, singing acts as a balm that soothes his mind, while producing offers him the freedom to bring something magical to life. To have envisioned and produced “I’m here” is to have put out an artistic piece that could stand the test of time.

The song opens with the sultry voice of Riwo, humming softly as her vocals sit perfectly on the keyboard lines setting the tone for the thumping bass that follows. She softly delivers a line that offers an invitation to a past love interest she still holds dear, “While I’m here/ Let me show you what I’m feeling.” The lyrics indicate her readiness to express the depth of her emotions – an act that shows she isn’t there for games. Riwo’s vocals are gentle, capable of making listeners reflect on the possibility of giving a past lover a second chance.

As the song continues to play, the artist infuses tension a little bit. Her lyrics show a missing intimacy between them, as she questions the feeling is mutual. “We both know there is something missing/ Let me know if you can feel it.” This shows that the singer pays attention to the emotional gap between her and the guy. By asking the question, she longs for reconciliation and rekindled love. The sound remains cool and ambient, while the nudge of the kicks continue to anchor the melody.

Jo Modi adds his own perspective, reiterating the thoughts laid bare by Riwo on the song. He accepts the change in feelings while also recognizing personal growth. The singer further made mention of how time has gone and the changes within himself. While there might be some subtle affection left, he notes with his lines that, “I’m here and I love me.” A powerful nod to choosing oneself despite unresolved emotions. Here, the sound merges beautifully with both voices, creating a chemistry that makes the song appealing.

“I’m here” by Jo Modi ft Riwo, is an interesting track built on the understanding that feelings can remain between two people who have gone their separate ways. The keyboard’s lines fit beautifully with the hard bass, making the track both reflective and enticing. More than just a song, it represents a classic. A track that captures the mixed feelings of love and the possibility of a second chance. The song is arranged, balancing the tone and message rendered by the singers. In Afrobeats production, percussion is vital, as it helps the song resonate in the listeners’ minds. This is clearly obvious in “I’m here.”
