Nollywood actor Solomon Akiyesi passes on

Nollywood actor Solomon Akiyesi has been confirmed dead. The news of his passing was confirmed by the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Abubakar Yakubu on Monday.

Yakubu revealed that the actor passed on in his sleep, revealing that the tragedy occurred on Sunday.

“Yes, it is true. He died yesterday. He slept and did not wake up. We await further details from the family. His body is in the morgue in Abuja, where the sad incident happened,” he said while speaking with TheCable Lifestyle.

The actor and businessman, known for his active years in the Nollywood industry, was mourned by fans and colleagues who expressed their shock in his demise.
