Emmanuel Daraloye Listed as 2021 Top 50 Creative in Nigeria

Emmanuel Daraloye, a Nigeria based music journalist has been listed as one of the top 50 creative in Nigeria by Kulture Magazine in 2021.

In a statement made available to newsmen on December 28, 2021, the Magazine said the individual were selected based on celebrating 50 creative Nigerians that made the most underrated impacts in 2021 with the category ranging from Music, Visual Arts, Photography, Filmmaking, Creative writing, Authorship, Broadcasting, Culture, Skit making and creative entrepreneurship.

While selecting Emmanuel Daraloye and others they said “For their contribution to writing quality content especially on social media, we appreciate you for making 2021 worthwhile in the creative industry”.

Emmanuel Daraloyes inclusion on the list shows his growing influence in music journalism. He has written reviews, interview and offers various perspectives on Afrobeats.

Some of the other individuals in the list included celebrated author Onyeka Nwelue, Skit maker Nas Boi, Sabinus, filmmaker Uche Agbo and others.

It will be recalled that on December 26, 2021, Emmanuel Daraloye alongside Dami Ajayi, Motolani Alake, Oris Aigbokhaevbolo, Joey Akan as the top 5 Music Journalist in Nigeria by Black Pride Magazine

Emmanuel Daraloye was also part of a team of six finest Nigerian music critics who curated a list of top 50 songs in Nigeria for the first half of the 2021.
