Husband shaves head to support wife through cancer treatment hair loss

A cancer patient, Namarta Nitin Goel, has shared a video of her husband shaving his head after helping shave hers during chemotherapy.

In a powerful display of love and companionship, the man is seen in the video shaving his head alongside his wife as she underwent cancer treatment.

In the clip, Namarta is seen sitting as her husband gently helps shave her head after chemotherapy led to severe hair fall and scalp pain.

Moments later, without making a spectacle of it, he decides to shave his own head too.

The emotional moment struck a chord online because of its simplicity. There were no dramatic speeches or staged reactions, just a partner trying to make a painful experience feel a little less lonely.

In the caption accompanying the video, Namarta wrote, “You didn’t just shave your head, you carried my pain with me,” a line that resonated deeply with viewers across platforms.

In earlier posts, according to India Today, she had spoken openly about how difficult the physical changes caused by chemotherapy had been for her emotionally, saying the hair fall intensified after her second session.

Namarta said even touching her scalp became painful. Although she was aware that hair loss was part of the treatment, facing it in reality was far more overwhelming than she had expected.
