Cabo Verde set to host Web Summit Spotlight in December 2026

Web Summit, one of the world’s most influential technology conference platforms, has announced that its first-ever event in Africa will take place in Cabo Verde in December 2026, marking a major milestone in the continent’s growing role in the global technology ecosystem.

The event, Web Summit Spotlight, will be held in December 2026, positioning Cabo Verde as a new international meeting point for technology, innovation, and investment, and reinforcing the country’s role as a bridge between Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
