Manchester City have reportedly agreed on a deal with Enzo Maresca as a possible replacement for Pep Guardiola.
Football transfer expert Nicolò Schira said Maresca has reached an agreement in principle with Manchester City on a contract that would run until 2028, with an option to extend it to 2029.

Schira said the final decision now depends on Guardiola, while Maresca is waiting.

Manchester City see Maresca as Guardiola’s replacement if the Spaniard decides to leave the club at the end of the season.

Guardiola, who previously managed FC Barcelona and FC Bayern Munich, still has one year left on his current contract with Manchester City. However, there have been reports linking him with a possible exit from the club.

The 55-year-old recently spoke about his future at Manchester City.
