Pastor Toye Ebijomor founder of God’s Anointed and Blessed Church International, Akure, has predicted victory for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

Ebijomore said Tinubu would overcome every political coalition and alliance formed against his re-election bid, in spite of alleged plots and political sabotage.

The cleric spoke during an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Saturday in Akure while reflecting on his prophecies concerning Nigeria and its leadership.

He urged the President to convene a national prayer session to address insecurity and political tension across the country ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, Nigeria’s mounting challenges require both human efforts and divine intervention to restore peace, unity and national stability.

Ebijomore said Tinubu must heed prophetic instructions contained in letters he claimed to have sent to the Presidency concerning national prayers.

He maintained that many false prophets existed for personal gain, but insisted genuine prophets still spoke truthfully under divine direction.

“I acknowledge that many false prophets exist today. However, true prophets of God remain just as it has been from the time of old.

“The records show that the words the Lord has spoken through me concerning this nation have consistently come to pass,” Ebijomore added.

He said some Nigerians ignored divine warnings in spite of previous prophecies he claimed had materialised during former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

“When God revealed to me during President (Muhammadu) Buhari’s tenure that he would be rushed abroad for medical treatment, it later came to pass.

“While others predicted his death, the Lord told me he would not die, and I declared it publicly,” the cleric said.

Ebijomore described himself as “God’s spokesman” and said he declared revelations without fear, favour, affection or political bias.

The pastor warned that the 2027 election could become Nigeria’s fiercest political contest if urgent reconciliation and spiritual interventions were ignored.

“We must begin works of peace and serious prayer toward the 2027 elections now.

“I saw the election held, but as a war — the worst electoral battle in Nigeria’s history,” Ebijomore warned.

He added that unresolved political tensions could threaten national unity and deepen divisions across different regions of the country.

“Unless we take heed and act accordingly, reconciliation will be nearly impossible, and regional unity will be threatened with near collapse,” he stated.

Ebijomore also referred to emerging political coalitions preparing for the 2027 elections, claiming internal divisions had weakened some alliances.

“Various groups came together later in 2025 to form a strong political platform for 2027, but their registration bid failed.

“They later moved as a coalition into an existing party, yet internal divisions have weakened their alliance,” the cleric added.

He appealed to Nigerians close to the President, including First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, to persuade him to organise national prayers.

According to him, the First Lady could draw from examples abroad in presenting a workable model for such a spiritual gathering.

“Since the First Lady has witnessed how it is done in America, she is well placed to present it as a template to her husband,” he said.

Ebijomore expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, predicting economic and social transformation in spite of what he described as forces resisting national progress.

“Nigeria will begin to become great. In six years, it will be known to the entire world,” he stated.

He added that Nigerians who relocated abroad in search of better opportunities would eventually begin returning home as the nation improves. (NAN)
