The Minister of Defence, retired Gen. Christopher Musa, will chair the Nigeria Private Security Conference (NPSC) 2026, organisers have said.
The conference, themed “Building a modern security ecosystem: Integrating private sector capacity into Nigeria’s national security architecture,” is scheduled to hold on June 13 in Abuja.
According to the organisers, the event is designed to bring together a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government officials, security agencies, private sector operators, investors and international delegates.
In a letter dated May 20 and signed by Group Capt. MK Nanle on behalf of the minister, Musa described the conference as a structured national platform aimed at fostering collaboration among government, defence, intelligence, private sector and technology stakeholders.
He affirmed his acceptance to chair the conference and expressed the ministry’s readiness to work with organisers to ensure its success.
