I’m mysterious – Blaqbonez reveals why he rejected $1m Mavin Records deal

Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, popularly known as Blaqbonez, has revealed that he was offered one million dollars to join Mavin Records.

The rapper, while speaking on his official X handle, disclosed the reasons behind his decision to decline the offer.

Blaqbonez noted that he does not enjoy being highly active on social media or constantly engaging fans online. He explained that his online personality may not align with the demands of a major record label.

“Need to get this off my chest before chanel drops, the reason I didn’t sign to mavin when they were begging me with a million dollars is cos i don’t really like posting, I prefer 1 tweet per year than engaging my fans, I’m too big for that, I’m mysterious,” he stated.
