A result sheet circulating widely on social media has intensified controversy surrounding the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship primary in Lagos State, with the document indicating that Princess Abiodun Oyefusi scored the highest number of votes in the exercise.

The viral sheet, which contains figures from several local government areas, showed Princess Oyefusi polling 8,489 votes, ahead of other aspirants including Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and Owolabi Salis.

The development has fueled heated debate online, especially following reports of internal disagreements within the party over the outcome of the primary election.

Princess Oyefusi had earlier approached the court, alleging that votes credited to her during the May 22, 2026 governorship primary were manipulated during collation.

According to reports, she claimed she won the majority of valid votes cast in the direct primary election.

However, another officially declared result announced Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as the ADC governorship candidate after the party’s primary.

The conflicting claims have since triggered mixed reactions among party supporters and political observers, with many demanding transparency from the party leadership over the actual outcome of the exercise.

Princess Oyefusi, a former Labour Party deputy governorship candidate and longtime Lagos politician, formally joined the ADC governorship race earlier this month after obtaining her nomination form in Abuja.
