Nigerian singer Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, popularly known as Spyro, has demanded action over the abducted teachers and students in Oyo state.
The singer, while speaking on the tragedy and security challenges, claimed that Nigerians are going about their lives despite the ongoing crisis.
He slammed public figures who chose to remain silent and ignore the country’s challenges, noting that empathy should be more important than political loyalty or financial benefits.
“It’s the first of June and there’s still no news about the teachers and children that were abducted, and it’s just business as usual in Nigeria, politicians are still campaigning and some fuuls called celebrities are still campaigning, some of them have children and I can’t seem to understand where their empathy lies, it’s about about the money and their luxury cars! You’re a nobody, you’re dust, a sickness can come today and take away everything you think you have as a celebrity,” he stated.
