Peter Okoye reacts after suspected bandit is allegedly apprehended in Lekki

Nigerian artist Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, has reacted to the arrest of an individual alleged to be a suspected bandit in the Lekki area of Lagos.

The singer via his social media page, revealed that he witnessed a crowd gathered around the individual while returning from a video shoot. He also noted that he was informed by bystanders that a suspected bandit had been apprehended.

Peter cried out over the disturbing incident, claiming that it is a sign that the security in Lagos state may have been compromised.

“Omo! Just coming back from a video shoot around Lekki and saw a crowd gathered. Na there I hear say dem catch suspected bandit. Omo, dem don enter Lagos o!,” he stated.

His post stirred mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians expressing concern about security challenges and urging authorities to investigate the incident thoroughly.
