Pastor Odejide further remarked, “The fire you left behind is still burning and will never go out in Jesus’ name,” drawing applause from the congregation.

Members of the Board of Trustees and other fellowship members also shared testimonies, praising his exemplary leadership and selfless service, while expressing gratitude to God for his life and impact.

Responding to the honour, Kubiangha expressed profound gratitude to the fellowship for the recognition and show of love.

He stated that God remains the reason behind every achievement in his life, stressing that without God, man is nothing. He gave all glory to God for His faithfulness and mercy, thanking Him for counting him worthy of the opportunities and responsibilities entrusted to him over the years.

Further in his response, Kubiangha charged members of the congregation to remain attentive to the voice and leading of God in all aspects of their lives. Drawing from Isaiah 30:21, he emphasised the importance of divine direction, noting that believers who consistently seek God’s guidance would never lose their way.

He encouraged the faithful to trust God completely, obey His instructions, and remain steadfast in their walk with Him regardless of prevailing circumstances.
