Davido set to headline FIFA World Cup 2026 countdown concert in LA

Nigerian afrobeats singer Davido, is set to headline the FIFA World Cup 2026 countdown concert in Los Angeles.

The superstar joins Diplo’s Major Lazer in performing at the June 10 countdown concert as part of FIFA’s synchronised music event in LA, Toronto and Mexico City to hype the 2026 World Cup.

He’s also featured on the official FIFA album “No Place Like Home”, dropping June 5 with four Nigerian artists including Ayra Star and collaboration like Shakira with Burna boy

The Nigerian singer took to his social media page, X (formally Twitter), where he shared photo and details of the event.

He wrote: “New music this friday !! ‘NO PLACE LIKE HOME’ with @MAJORLAZER @NellyFurtado @FIFAWorldCup”.
