NYSC Osun State announces change of date for Batch ‘B’ Stream1 swearing-in

The National Youths Service Corps Osun State has announced a change of date for the swearing-in and official opening ceremony of the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Orientation Course.
The decision to reschedule the event, according to a press release on Wednesday, by the State Coordinator Mr Ekeng Ita Kubiangha, followed receipt of a circular from the NYSC Directorate Headquarters Abuja rescheduling the event after realising that Friday, June 12 which was the earlier date announced has been declared a public holiday by the Federal Government.
The event has now been rescheduled to hold on Monday 15th of June 2026 by 9am at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Ede, Osun State.
“The change became necessary following the declaration of Friday 12th June 2026 as a public holiday by the Federal Government of Nigeria. All invited guests and stakeholders are kindly requested to take note of the new date and make the necessary adjustments to their schedules.
“The NYSC Osun State Secretariat regrets any inconvenience the change may have caused and appreciates the understanding, cooperation and continued support of all stakeholders,” the release said.
