Ruger returns to music after legal battle with ex-girlfriend

Nigerian singer, Ruger, has been announced to return to making music shortly after his legal battle with his ex-girlfriend. The singer, in a statement released by his record label, was said to have taken a break after he was caught up in personal challenges.

In the statement, the record label disclosed the ex-girlfriend sued the singer for alleged “emotional distress” and “damages”.

“Ruger was caught up in a series of personal challenges after someone he dated decided to sue him for alleged ’emotional distress,’ and ‘damages,” it read.

The statement added that the singer will return to the music scene in August.
