A three-storey building located inward Satellite Town, near the Alakija Bridge, in Lagos, has collapsed, causing panic and worry for occupants and nearby individuals.
An eyewitness, while recalling the incident, revealed that the tragedy occurred suddenly around 11:40am on Thursday. Reports say that many occupants were trapped in the rubbles after the building caved in. The exact number of trapped individuals remains unconfirmed.
Police operatives from the Area E Command and the Satellite Division were alerted and arrived promptly to cordon off the area and coordinate early local rescue efforts.
