Nollywood actor and entertainer Charles Okocha has intensified preparations for his highly anticipated celebrity boxing rematch against street-pop singer Portable, sharing a light-hearted training session with award-winning singer Yemi Alade ahead of the July 31 showdown.

Okocha posted a video on his Instagram page featuring himself and the “Mama Africa” crooner throwing playful punches and working on boxing drills, while teasing his upcoming clash with Portable.

The video quickly drew thousands of reactions from fans, with many amused by the chemistry between the actor and the singer.

Several followers joked that Yemi Alade was boxing with emotion after appearing to hug Okocha during the session, while others predicted that Portable would once again have the upper hand when both celebrities meet inside the ring.

The contest revives one of Nigeria’s most talked-about entertainment rivalries after Okocha activated the rematch clause following his defeat to Portable in their first encounter.

The feud between the pair dates back to 2023, when Portable accused Okocha of failing to honour a business agreement.
