Minister Calls For Peace In NFF

Former Sports Minister, Yusuf Suleiman, has appealed to warring factions in the current crises rocking the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to sheathe their swords and embrace peace.

Suleiman counseled the warring parties in the crises to settle their differences, saying the problems may ruin Nigerian football if they fail to agree.

“I appeal to the warring officials to bury their hatchets for the sake of Nigerian football. They should not allow these crises to degenerate because it will not do Nigerian football any good,” said Suleiman.

He said the National Sports Commission, NSC, should be allowed to concentrate on its primary assignment and not be preoccupied with the crises in football.

Suleiman noted that the crises rocking Nigerian football has been there for years but advised that it must not be allowed to continue.
