Olympic Judo Qualifier: De Souza Expresses Confidence In Nigerian Judokas

Vice President of Nigeria Judo Federation, NJF, Olakitan De Souza, has expressed confidence in Nigerian judokas to secure tickets to feature at the London Olympics during the African Judo Championship in March.

De Souza is convinced that Nigerian judokas will perform well in the African tourney which is also a qualifying championship for the Olympic Games.

“Nigerian judokas will surely win Olympic tickets for the country at the African Judo Championship. Our team are in high spirits and are ready to do the country proud at the tourney,” said Olakitan.

Olakitan disclosed that nine judocas will make the Team Nigeria to the continental tourney, where they will fight for slots against their opponents from other African countries.
