The clarification follows widespread social media posts alleging that the singer had revealed during a livestream that he invested $4 million in a property, only to discover that it had been fraudulently sold to him.

The management of Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has dismissed as false a viral report claiming the artiste lost $4 million in an alleged real estate scam.

A member of Bella Shmurda’s team told PM News that the claim is “fake news”, adding that the video being circulated online is an old clip from 2023 that has been taken out of context and falsely presented as a recent incident.

“It’s fake news, and that video circulating was from 2023,” the team member told PM News.

The clarification follows widespread social media posts alleging that the singer had revealed during a livestream that he invested $4 million in a property, only to discover that it had been fraudulently sold to him.

The viral posts also claimed Bella Shmurda appealed to Nigerians for help, alleging that the seller had disappeared after the transaction.

However, PM News has confirmed through the singer’s team that the reports are false and do not reflect any recent development involving the artiste.

The clarification underscores the growing problem of old videos being recirculated online without context, often leading to the spread of misinformation.

Members of the public are advised to verify sensational claims through credible sources before sharing them on social media.
