Cirvee Academy has successfully hosted the third edition of Tech Cirvee Fest, bringing together more than 7,000 young people, entrepreneurs, technology professionals, and industry leaders for one of Africa’s largest youth-focused technology festivals.

The event, held at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan, followed its rescheduling from June 6 to July 11, 2026, due to security concerns in parts of the country.

Organised by Cirvee Academy and convened by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nimi Adegbite, the festival featured a full day of technology discussions, networking, innovation showcases, entertainment, and career opportunities aimed at equipping young Africans with skills for the digital economy.

Speaking during the event, Adegbite said Tech Cirvee Fest was created to inspire young people to embrace technology while connecting them with opportunities for personal and professional growth.

“We believe technology should not only educate but also inspire,” he said. “Tech Cirvee Fest was created to show young Africans that they can learn, build, create and compete globally. By bringing together world-class speakers, industry leaders, creators and entertainers on one stage, we’re creating an ecosystem where opportunity meets ambition.”

The festival featured keynote addresses and panel discussions led by industry figures, including Jubril Arogundade, Chief Executive Officer of Hybrid Motors; Ruth Okoli, Chief Executive Officer of Nestuge; Joy Adesanya; and AJ Skylar, Chief Executive Officer of The Braiding Vault. Speakers shared insights on entrepreneurship, technology, innovation and the future of work.

The event also blended technology with entertainment, featuring appearances by music star Mr P, rapper Ycee, media personality Adeife, and other entertainers.

Beyond the discussions, Cirvee Academy said it awarded millions of naira worth of grants, scholarships, laptops, gadgets and sponsored international trips to outstanding participants.

The academy also graduated hundreds of students who completed training in various technology disciplines during the event.

According to the organisers, the festival reflects Cirvee Academy’s broader commitment to developing digital talent and expanding access to technology education across Africa.

Cirvee Academy provides training in software engineering, product design, cybersecurity, data analysis, artificial intelligence, digital marketing, project management and other technology-related fields through both physical and virtual learning platforms.

The academy said it also supports young professionals through mentorship programmes, career development initiatives and strategic partnerships designed to connect graduates with opportunities within and outside Africa.
