Skip Marriage in Your 20s: Toke Makinwa advises women

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, has shared her thoughts on the topic of early marriage, claiming that it is not ideal for women to get married in their 20s.

While speaking during a recent episode of her podcast Toke Moment, the actress explained that most women begin the process of self discovery in their 20s and shouldn’t be making such life changing decisions yet.

Toke also claimed that most of the women who gets married in their 20s end up regretting it.

“Women have no business getting married in their 20s… You don’t even know yourself yet. Those who did are regretting it now. Even those who are still married if they are being honest, they will tell you that they shouldn’t have rushed it,” she said.
