Dangote Pasta Unveils New TV Ads

In its determination towards winning more patrons for its pasta products, the management of Dangote Foods has unveiled a new commercial.

The new commercial was revealed to newsmen at a media briefing held at Silverbird Galleria,Lagos, last week.

At the unveiling ceremony,the Managing Director,Dangote Pasta, Mr.Oladehinde Brown, said the commercial was in line with the company’s tradition of bringing about innovation that would connect easily with the consumers.

He added that it was necessary at this time, considering the choices that daily confront today’s consumer as it would assist in creating emotional connection with the brand.

Expatiating on the pasta foods, Brown noted that it is a complete meal that is out to enrich consumers with vitamins.

According to him, all Dangote pasta line of products are now fortified with 10 vitamins and actilease for easy consumption and absorption.

He explained that the concept was borne out of the need to create a strategy that would enhance market penetration.

Commenting on its operation and the capacity to serve as a feeding hub for Africa in the pasta market, Brown disclosed that the company was ready to meet the yearning of its consumers as it is capable of producing to full capacity of 20 million cartons per year.

He further noted that the target for the year is to produce about nine million cartons which is enough to accommodate pasta consumers particularly in Nigeria.

The plant production capacities,according to him, include pasta lines and macaroni which consist of four variants.

However, the Group Head, Corporate Communication, Dangote Group,Tony Chiejina, expressed the readiness of the company to extend its business frontiers to neighbouring countries with a view to filling the gap in the pasta market which has become obvious.
