Astro Turf Commissioned In Ikorodu Funfactory

“The establishment of sporting facilities at Ikorodu Funfactory, especially the Asro Turf is a dream come true and this will help in nurturing the youths in Ikorodu and environs to shun all forms of social vices.”

The above statement was made by the General Manager of the Funfactory Centre, Mrs. Olawale oluwakemi, while speaking at the commissioning of the entertainment and recreational centre last weekend.

The centre, which has a mini-artificial pitch for a 5-Aside football tournament and other sporting facilities, located at Itokin-Ijebu Ode road, opposite Itamagba Sawmill in Ikorodu, was officially opened for business last Saturday.

The family-friendly venue, according to Olawale, would give the youths, clubs, residents and corporate bodies in the area an opportunity to hold their events including inter-schools, local and international competitions.

She said: “The construction of facilities at our Funfactory began in 2008. It’s one of the fully equipped world class fitness centres by our organisation. Our subsidiaries include the Funfactory, Lekki, Ibadan and the Royal Marque in Ijebu Ode.

“At Funturf International, we provide a safe and exciting arena for football enthusiasts to play the game and also to coach the children who have the ambition of being professional players. We also have the funturf gymnasium and a business units including the Bespoke Events and other facilities for entertainment,” she said.
