Efugh Rues Heartland Loss To Enyimba

Skipper of Heartland FC of Owerri, Chineu Efugh has expressed great disappointment after his side was defeated by Enyimba of Aba in one of the league fixtures decided yesterday inside the Daniel Anyiam Stadium, Owerri.

The MVP at the Federation Cup Final last year, who had expressed great optimism prior to the match, said that he could not really place what happened to his team after watching the his teammates get bashed by their eternal rivals.

The injured skipper said: “I just can’t say what happened to the team but I’m very sad that we lost the match.”

Enyimba FC had lost in their last competitive match against Heartland in the federation Cup final last year, but amended that by defeating their opponents yesterday.
