Efugh Glad Scoring Against Tornadoes

Chinedu Efugh is happy that he came back with a goal against Niger Tornadoes in one of the midweek matches of the Nigeria Premier League, NPL.

Efugh returned to action for Heartland after injury to grab an equaliser in the 83rd minute after Essien Etor has put the visitors Niger Tornadoes in front.

Ikechukwu Ibenegbu sealed the victory for Heartland when he scored the winning goal in the 88th minute to end the game 2-1.

Heartland skipper Efugh said he was happy to comeback with a goal and said he will keep doing well for his team.

“It was a nice game and my return was a sweet one with the goal and victory. I am praying to be injury-free henceforth so I can play more games and contribute to the team’s success. I am happy scoring my first goal of the season here,” ‘Chicago’ told MTNFootball.com.
