Gani Adams Gives Baby Tradochrislam Name

The National Co-Ordinator of Oodua Peoples Congress, Otunba Gani Adams has given his new baby three names that depict the three major religions in Nigeria, namely traditional, Islam and Christianity.

During the colourful naming ceremony which was held at Adams’ Abule Ado home, off Lagos-Badagry expressway, on Sunday, traditionalists, Islamic clerics and Christians took turns to give Baby Adams the following names: the traditionalist name him Ifakorede and Osunmakinwa, Muslims name the baby Abdul Mojeed while Christians named him Emmanuel.

Other names are Temileyi, Oluwaseun, Abiodun and Olamide.

Though the OPC leader had said earlier that he was not prepared for an elaborate naming ceremony, members of OPC turned the naming ceremony into a carnival as they took strategic positions within and outside the Adam’s home eating, drinking and dancing.

An elated Gani Adams was all over the place playing host to guests within his compound.

At a point during the Christian naming ceremony Adams’ wife, Erelu Mojisola Adams, betrayed emotions as she burst into tears when the service was going .

The officiating minister consoled her saying it was a tear of joy as she has waited so and that God preserved her womb because the baby was a child of promise.

Otunba Gani Adams and his wife were blessed with a baby boy recently after nine years of marriage.
