Rangers Invite Seven To Camp
Enugu Rangers are set to bring in new seven players within the mid-term transfer window.
Rangers’ manager, Okey Emordi, told SuperSport.com that tens of players have continued to besiege the Flying Antelopes’ camp on a daily basis, but that they are cautious to give approvals.
“We’re bringing in about five or seven players within the transfer window. We’re not really in a hurry. Apart from Ifeanyi Ede, a former Enyimba player who has received our nod, no other player has been recruited.
“Many players have been showing up at our camp, we’re putting them through real match situation to ascertain their fitness and suitability for our needs,” Emordi said.
“We want to be sure that the would-be recruits don’t have any problem or existing contract with their former clubs.
“We need defence, midfield and attack. We know the challenge in the second stanza will be tougher than the first term, so we’re trying to put up a strong squad that will stand the test of time,” he said.
