Kaduna records a Second bomb blast

A second bomb has exploded in the city of Kaduna, about five hours after the blast at the office of Thisday, Sun and Moment newspapers at Ahmadu Bello Way.

The bomb which exploded at about 5p.m at Ungwar Muazu along Nnamdi Azikwe Western Bypass Express Way injured four persons .

According to witnesses, the bomber drove in a car and dropped a black leather bag on the right lane of the road and drove away.

One of the witnesses, Samaila Rogo told P.M.News that few minutes after the suspected car drove off , a commercial motorcyclist carrying two passengers stepped on the bag and it exploded.

Kaduna Police Commissioner, Mohammed Jinjiri Abubakar who confirmed the second second blast said the police have drafted more security personnel to beef up security in all parts of the state to forstall more bomb attacks.

The commissioner didn’t confirm whether the bombers belonged to Boko Haram sect.
