Don’t Underrate Leopards, Ledor Warns Heartland Ahead Of Sunday Clash

Former Saint Michel d’Ouenzé midfielder, Sam Ledor, has warned Nigerian side Heartland not to underrate their CAF Confederation Cup opponents, AC Leopards Dolisie.

The Congolese are yet to lose on the road in two back-to-back CAF Confederation Cup matches this term.

Against all expectations, Leopards lost 1-2 at home in the last round to Tunisian powerhouse and two-time CAFConfederation Cup champions, Club Sportif Sfaxien, but won 2-0 in Sfax to earn the ticket to face Heartland.

Eric Nyamba’s brace stunned the home fans and Leopards qualified on 3-2 aggregate.

“Leopards play fast football and have a good team.

“They have good foreigners in the team, who are from neighbouring African countries. Some of their players are also in the national team,” said Ledor , who is on a short-term deal with Sharks in the Nigeria Premier League.

The former Rangers and Enyimba star revealed that the club made an approach for him when he was on the roster of their Brazzaville rivals, Saint Michel d’Ouenzé

“I was already heading for Etoile du Sahel when they approached me,” he told SuperSport.com.
